Meadowbrook IB has visited 3 campuses this year- Richard Bland College, south of Petersburg, VA, the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA and Hampton University in Hampton, VA.

Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS)
What is CAS?
Students in the IB program are required to complete CAS experiences during their junior and senior years. During their two years, students are to complete a month long project that can go under either Creativity, Activity or Service. Projects that the class of 2023 completed were:
-Small Construction Project Projects
-Campus beautification project
-IB Mural

One from the class of 2022 that made the local news-
-Conducting a schoolwide dance video (click here for the news story)

-The class of 2024 designed and painted a mural in honor of a beloved teacher who passed away in 2023. They also helped design the foyer area of the school.

What Are Some Things that IB Students Gain?
Did you know that IB students are eligible for a scholarship at the end of their senior year?
Did you know that IB students are able to earn college credits for their time in the IB program?
A wise man once said "[they] that endure until the end..." Staying in the program until the end of senior year has its benefits.
